We have employed only women workers coming from the semi-tribal community living nearby, people surviving just above the poverty line, where women, of course, are the last link of the chain. In this way, by empowering women, each family will receive some monthly income, contributing to a general improvement in the conditions of the area. Similarly, following our ethical principles, we have decided to acquire all the fabrics and material that we need only from the local market in the closest village - Gudamalani. We know we might find better quality of fabrics and accessories from the retailers of Jaipur, Delhi, Mumbai or Kolkata, but we are not party to supporting the already established supply chain owners. Our intention is to help and develop the local market by purchasing from little shops and owners.
